1. DAILY PRAYER PROGRAM

Start your day in the presence of the Divine with our "Prayer Program." We offer two daily prayer sessions to align your heart and spirit with God. The first session begins at 5:30 AM - 6:00 AM , allowing you to embrace the morning with gratitude and devotion. The second session takes place at 9:30 PM - 10:00 PM , providing an opportunity for reflection and communion before you rest.

In the Bible, we find countless passages emphasizing the importance of prayer.
In Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV), it is written, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."
Prayer is our direct line of communication with the Creator, a powerful tool for finding peace, solace, and guidance in our lives.

By participating in our Prayer Program, you join a community that seeks to grow spiritually through prayer. 2. VESPERS: MOMENTS OF REFLECTION AND WORSHIP

Join us for our "Vespers" program, where we gather in the serene ambiance of the Lecture Theater on Wednesdays and Fridays. As the sun sets, casting a warm glow through the windows, we come together to experience moments of reflection and worship.

Our chosen venue, the Lecture Theater, provides the perfect setting for these sacred gatherings. With its comfortable seating and tranquil surroundings, it offers an inviting space for contemplation and spiritual renewal.

On Wednesdays from 6:00 PM - 7:30 PM and Fridays from 6:00 PM - 8:30 PM , we embrace the beauty of twilight and find solace in the presence of the Divine. Vespers is a cherished tradition in our church community, a time to pause, unwind, and draw closer to God.

3. CHOIR TRAINING: HARMONY IN FAITH AND MUSIC

Discover the joy of musical worship and the power of harmonious voices in our "Choir Training" program. Held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM , this is where the melodies of our faith come to life. Whether you're an experienced vocalist or just starting your musical journey, our choir welcomes you.

4. BIBLE DISCUSSION: EXPLORING FAITH THROUGH SCRIPTURE

Every Friday, from 4:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Church Office , we delve into the rich tapestry of Scripture, exploring different Bible characters and prophecies. 5. FAMILY MEETINGS: STRENGTHENING BONDS EVERY EVERY SUNDAY MORNING

Our "Family Meetings" are a cornerstone of our community. Held every Sunday morning, they provide a unique opportunity for our church family to come together in a smaller, more intimate setting. These gatherings are an essential part of our weekly programs, designed to foster deeper connections and spiritual growth.

During these meetings, we've divided our church members into families based on their residential areas, creating tight-knit groups that meet regularly. It's a time for fellowship, prayer, and mutual encouragement as we support one another on our faith journeys.

6. SABBATH DAY: A DAY OF WORSHIP AND REST

Sabbath Day Schedule:

At KAPOSDA SDA CHURCH, we hold the Sabbath in high esteem, dedicating this day to worship, spiritual growth, and fellowship. Join us as we observe the Sabbath with reverence and joy, following a rich and meaningful schedule:

1. Sabbath School (8:30 AM - 9:30 AM)

Begin your Sabbath with the enlightening and interactive Sabbath School session, where we delve into Scripture and engage in thought-provoking discussions.

2. Lesson Discussion (9:30 AM - 10:30 AM)

Dive deeper into the week's lesson, sharing insights and reflections as we grow together in our understanding of God's Word.

3. Announcements (10:35 AM - 10:50 AM)

Stay informed about church activities, upcoming events, and opportunities to get involved as we share important announcements.

4. Doxology (Wimbo wa Sifa) and Invocation (Ombi) (10:53 AM - 11:00 AM)

Lift your voices in praise and join in prayer as we prepare our hearts for the sermon service.

5. Sermon Service (11:02 AM - 12:15 PM)

Experience the heart of our Sabbath worship with a powerful sermon service that provides spiritual nourishment and inspiration.

6. Lunch (12:30 PM - 1:30 PM)

After the service, enjoy a time of fellowship and refreshment as we come together for a delicious Sabbath meal.

7. Song Services (1:50 PM - 3:30 PM):

In the afternoon, we continue to worship through song, raising our voices in hymns and praises to God.

8. Bible Study (3:45 PM - 5:00 PM)

Conclude the Sabbath with an engaging and spiritually enriching Bible study, deepening your knowledge and understanding of the Word.

The Sabbath is a sacred day of rest and reflection, a time to connect with God and fellow believers. As Isaiah 58:13-14 (NIV) reminds us:

"If you keep your feet from breaking the Sabbath and from doing as you please on my holy day, if you call the Sabbath a delight and the Lord’s holy day honorable, and if you honor it by not going your own way and not doing as you please or speaking idle words, then you will find your joy in the Lord, and I will cause you to ride in triumph on the heights of the land and to feast on the inheritance of your father Jacob."
